Creating e-mail templates for Messenger
Create and modify e-mail messages using e-mail templates. The E-mail Templates tab also shows records synced from the mobile device.
- Select Administration > E-mail Messenger > E-mail Templates.
- Click New Record.

Specify this information:
- E-mail Template
- Specify a unique code identifying the e-mail template, and then enter a description of the template in the adjacent field.
- Select this check box to send the notification to the email address in the recipients field.
- Push Notification
- Select this check box to send the notification to both the email address and the push notification ID.
Note: If E-mail is unselected and Push Notification is selected, the notification will send the push notification but not an email.- Notebook E-mails
- Select this check box to indicate that the template is created for sending notebook emails.
- From E-mail
- Specify the from e-mail address.
- E-mail Recipients
- Select the recipients of the e-mail message.
Separate e-mail addresses with a space or a ;.
Note: Parameters can be used in E-mail Recipients as well. If a parameter is associated with a user or employee record, the system replaces it with the corresponding e-mail address when the e-mail is sent.
- E-mail Subject
- Specify the subject of the e-mail message.
- E-mail Body
- Compose the e-mail message. Identify the parameter number(s) that corresponds to the column of the system table to be displayed with this e-mail. Enter %1 - %15 for each parameter.
- Click Save Record.
