Defining case tasks for service codes

Tasks defined on this screen will be copied to the Tasks tab of the Case Management screen, functioning as a template of sorts when the associated service code is selected on the Case Management screen.

  1. Select Operations > Setup > Service Codes.
  2. Select the service code for which to define a case task, and then click the Case Tasks tab.
  3. Click Add Case Task.
  4. Enter a description of the task.
  5. Specify this information:
    Sequence
    Specify the sequential order in which this task is to be performed if there are more tasks to define for this case.
    Step
    Specify a sub-sequence for tasks that have the same sequential order.
    Task Plan for Checklist
    Specify an existing task plan checklist to attach to this task.
    Estimated Costs
    Specify the estimated costs of the task.
    Priority
    Specify the priority of the task.
  6. Select the Out of Service check box to prevent this task from being copied to the task on the Case Management screen.
  7. Specify the tracking details information.
  8. Specify the follow-up work order details information if a work order is typically related to this task.
  9. Click Submit.
    A unique code identifying the Task No. is assigned.
