Adding parts to packages

Add parts to a package. The package must have a status of Unfinished.

To add parts to a package:

Select Materials > Held Items Management > Packages.
Select the package to which to add parts, and then click the Parts tab.
Specify this information:

Part

Select a part to add to the package.

Package Qty.

Specify the number of parts to add to the package.
Note: If you select a part that is Tracked by Asset, the system sets Package Qty. to 1 and protects Package Qty.
Click Submit.
