Creating observations for nonconformities

Create and maintain observations for nonconformities. You can specify the status and severity of the observation. Each new observation is assigned a sequential number so its development can be tracked.

To create an observation for a nonconformity:

  1. Select Equipment > Nonconformities.
  2. Select the nonconformity for which to create observations, and then click the Observations tab.
  3. Specify this information:
    Observation Status
    Specify the status of the observation, such as Unfinished or Approved.
    Task Plan for Checklist
    Specify Task Plan for Checklist for the observation.
    Severity
    Specify the severity of the observation.
  4. Click Submit.
