Defining credit cards

Define credit cards for use as payment on purchase orders.

To define credit cards:

  1. Select Purchasing > Setup > Credit Cards.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Organization
    Specify the organization of the credit card if you use multi-organizational security.
    Last 4 of Credit Card
    Specify the last four digits of the credit card number, and then enter a description of the credit card in the adjacent field.
    Type
    Specify the type of the credit card.
    Expiration (Month/Year)
    Specify a two-digit number for the month, and then enter a four-digit number for the year.
    Class
    Specify the class of the credit card.
    Class Org.
    Specify the organization of the class.
    Expiration Date
    Specify the expiration date for the credit card. The system defaults Expiration Date to the month entered as the Expiration month, the last day of the Expiration month, and the year of Expiration.
    Name
    Specify the name that appears on the credit card.
    Out of Service
    Select to set this credit card record to out of service.
  4. Click Save Record.
