Defining budget calendar types

Calendar types are used to determine the number of reporting periods in a budget term.

To define budget calendar types:

  1. Select Operations > Budgets > Budget Calendar Types.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Calendar Type
    Specify a name for the calendar type, and then enter a calendar type description in the adjacent field.
    Number of Periods
    Specify the number of periods for this budget calendar type, such as 12 for a monthly calendar, 4 for quarterly.
    Class
    Specify the class for the calendar type. The system automatically populates Class Org.
  4. Click Save Record.
