Defining simple tools

To define simple tools:

  1. Select Work > Setup > Tools.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Organization
    Specify the organization to which the tool belongs if you use multi-organization security.
    Tool
    Specify a unique code identifying the tool, and then enter a description of the tool in the adjacent field.
    Class
    Specify the class of the tool. The system automatically populates Class Org.
  4. Click Save Record.
