Defining manufacturer information

To define manufacturer information:

  1. Select Materials > Setup > Manufacturers.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Organization
    Specify the organization to which the manufacturer belongs if you use multi-organization security.
    Manufacturer
    Specify a unique code identifying the manufacturer, and then enter a description of the manufacturer in the adjacent field.
    Class
    Specify the class of the manufacturer. The classes shown belong to the MANU entity. The system automatically populates Class Org.
    Supplier
    Specify the manufacturer’s supplier. The system automatically populates Supplier Org.
    Out of Service
    Select if the manufacturer is out of service.
  4. Click Save Record.
