Viewing the parent of a location

View the immediate parent location of another location.

To view the parent location:

  1. Select Equipment > Setup > Locations.
  2. Select the equipment for which to view the parent, and then click the Structure tab.
  3. Select the location record for which to view the parent, and then click Show Parents.
  4. The Dependent check box is always selected when both the parent and the child are locations. You cannot change the setting of the Dependent check box in this case.
  5. Click Submit.
