Defining work order types for work setup

Define work order types. These types indicate the condition of existing work orders.

To define work order types for work setup:

  1. Select Administration > Work Setup.
  2. Click the Work Order Types tab.
  3. Click Add Type.
  4. Specify this information:
    Type
    Enter a user code for the work order type, and then enter a description in the adjacent field.
    System Type
    Enter a code for the system type.
    • A (Assets)
    • C (Category)
    • L (Location)
    • S (System)
    System Default
    Select to set the system default to the current code.
  5. Click Submit.
