Modifying field display properties

Change the display properties for fields as necessary. Five field properties are used: Required, Protected, Optional, Hidden, and Not Available.

  1. Display the selected page in designer mode.
  2. Right-click the field to modify.
    Note: All five of the field properties are NOT available for all fields.
  3. Choose one of the following field property options:
    • Required
      Select to indicate that the field is required.
    • Protected
      Select to indicate that the field is read-only.
    • Optional
      Select to indicate that the field is not required.
    • Hidden
      Select to indicate that the field is not shown in detail mode but is always displayed in list view and is still available.
    • Not Available
      Select to indicate that the field should not be displayed in detail or list views.
  4. Click Save.
